My beautiful sister, Marquita, was given a surprise baby shower! I was so excited because I just had to make her cake. Thank you to her wonderful husband who finally said yes, after I hounded him at church and via text, lol.

I enjoy cake decorating but I've never worked with fondant. I'm hoping to get in some practice over the summer though. The baby shower cake looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteThank you. Fondant is a pain in the summer because humidity and it does not mix well. When you do start working with it, I do not recommend you using Wilton brand (as a personal preference, it is hard to work with). Also, can't store in refrigerator or very hot/humid conditions. So as long as you have air pumping you should be fine.
