So it's been three weeks at Hummingbird! It's been super busy in macaron land, but guess what we've been making cakes too!!!!
We had a cake this past weekend for a very talented author for her book signing. This was a lot of firsts for the team, I never carved cake before, Aya never covered cake in fondant, so we both collaborated to make this the best cake possible!
The cake flavor is five flavor pound cake, vanilla butter cream, vanilla fondant and fondant decorations!
The final cake looked amazing and I smile hard because I got to teach my coworker how to cover a cake in fondant!!! We are a great team of talent!!!!
