Puff pastry

Well the long awaited sourdough was a bust, remaking then posting pictures!

Laminated dough, in this case puff pastry, was very interesting to make. Never rolled it by hand before, had used a machine called a sheeter (beautiful & expensive device btw), so this was fun.

After a difficult (frozen, needing to thaw [that for another day]) start, the end result was beautiful.

So I have cherry almond filled pinwheels, apple pecan diamonds and almond filled bear claws!

  1. I so wish I could bake. I think you nee dot have patience, and that's not one of my virtues. This looks so good though!
